Network for Job Search Success – Monday Feb 8th noon – 1pm

Sales Executive and Entrepreneur Jeff Hoffman will share his suggestions for developing a successful networking strategy, including developing and expanding a list of contacts. Jeff will also discuss challenging areas of networking: making the ask and keeping in touch with contacts who aren’t hiring now, but might be hiring later.

Spring Sales Training with Jeff Hoffman

For the coming Spring semester, the MIT Sloan Sales Club would like to present both the basic and advanced sales training workshop series with Jeff Hoffman.

Jeff is an industry leader in sales training (http://www.mjhoffman.com). He will be sharing his tips on how to write effective emails that get read by executives and get you a response. His methods are a great way to open doors and network with key players within various companies. In addition, attendees of the Fall Basic Training have found his elevator pitch techniques very useful.

Basic Sales Training Series (6:00 – 7:30 pm)

  1. 8 February 2010 – Venue: E51-345
  2. 22 February 2010 – Venue: TBD
  3. 1 March 2010 - Venue: TBD

Advanced Sales Training Series (Time and Venue: TBD)

  1. 5 April 2010
  2. 12 April 2010

Sales Training Policies

  • You will need to be a member of the MIT Sloan Sales Club to participate in the sales training. Dues are $25 for 1 year and $40 for 2 years. Please make checks payable to “MIT Sloan Sales Club” and drop them off in the E52 mailfolder of “Ryan, Heather”. Include your email address (to be added to the mailing list) and indicate you will like to participate in the sales training.
  • To enroll in the advanced training series, participants will need to attend all 3 sessions of the basic training.
  • For Fall’s Basic Training participants: You will only need to attend the corresponding Spring basic training sessions to make up for those you missed in Fall
